St. John’s Catholic School (Hughes Rd in Madison) is seeking qualified applicants for the 2025-2026 school year for Substitute teaching and After Care positions. Students range from K4 through 8th grade. Background Check Required.
Substitute Teacher
We are currently seeking Substitute Teachers with the flexibility and willingness to fill in for absent teachers.
- Follow and implement lesson plans of absent teachers to ensure instructional continuity. Assume all classroom duties, including taking attendance, overseeing students, and adhering to classroom schedules. Oversee students in various settings including classroom, hallway, cafeteria, and other supervisory duties. Ensure instructional activities are carried out. Maintain confidentiality and exhibit professionalism.

After Care Employees
After Care is the perfect job for active seniors, college students or high school seniors. After Care is part time. After Care employees’ hours are 2:45-5:30 Monday through Friday. Kids range from K4 through 8th grade. The main expectations are to watch the students and provide safety and care at all times.
