Sheryl Lewis, Principal

Mrs. Lewis was born in Memphis, Tennessee and raised in Mississippi. She attended Catholic schools growing up. She has spent most of her 30 years in education working in Catholic schools. Her classroom teaching experience included 2nd grade, 3rd grade and computer technology. She has been an administrator in elementary schools and high school. She has been a member of St. John’s Parish since 1990 and joined the school community in 2006.

Mrs. Lewis holds a B.A. from the University of Alabama in Huntsville and a M.Ed. from the University of Mississippi. She also attended Alabama A&M for certification in administration and supervision.

Mrs. Lewis believes St. Therese of Lisieux serves as a great role model for each of us. St. Therese believed that we can show our love to God through the “little” things that we do in everyday life. While living only 24 years, St. Therese showed us that no matter what age, we can learn from the example and witness shown to us by others.
