My name is Sarah Beth Glasier and I am a native of Huntsville, Alabama. I received my Bachelor's degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a double major in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. As a child, I attended Holy Spirit Catholic School in Huntsville, where my love of teaching began. I am very excited to be at St. John's for my tenth year. Teaching at St. John’s gives me the opportunity to expand young minds in a faith based learning environment, which is close to my heart.
I am co-sponsor of the St. John’s yearbook which gives me opportunity to work with the middle school students. In my free time, I enjoy exploring new places with my husband, taking trips to Disney, outdoor activities, and spending time with my family.
Kindergarten is an important year in which the students form skills necessary for their educational journey. In addition to learning to read, write and understand basic math concepts, the students begin to comprehend the necessary structure of a learning environment. Center time occurs each day for the students to explore purposeful play and learn to work with others.
I invite and encourage open communication with me throughout the year.
