Nancy Arzonico, K4

My name is Nancy Arzonico and I am so happy to be teaching at St. John's! My husband's job brought us to Madison six years ago from Mobile. In Mobile, I earned my Bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of South Alabama and a Master's in education from Springhill College.

We have three daughters: Emily, Amy and Allison. Our oldest, Emily, is finishing her last year of Pharmacy School and will be getting married in December. Our middle daughter, Amy, is attending school in Florida and our youngest, Allison, is in 8th grade. Teaching in a Catholic School is very important to me and teaching K4 is the most fun a teacher could ever have! Religion is a part of everything we do each day and not just a subject. In addition to weekly Mass and Religious Education lessons, our class learns prayers and has a Saint of the week.

I enjoy teaching and want my students to enjoy learning. I use a variety of methods to teach, including songs, movement, art and play. Excitement in learning will at times leave our classroom messy and loud. I love to see a happy face while learning is taking place!
