FALL BREAK!  OCTOBER 6 – 10 (NO SCHOOL)

St John’s School will be participating in the Madison Street Festival this year.  It is a great opportunity to connect with the community and show off our school and all the wonderful things it has to offer. The festival will be held Saturday, October 4th in downtown Madison. Volunteers (individuals or families!) are needed throughout the day to help man our booth. We would like to divide the day into two hour shifts: 8:00-10:00 (includes set-up), 10:00 – 12:00, 12:00 – 2:00, and 2:00 – 4:00 (includes tear down). If you are able to help or have any questions please contact the PR committee chair, Melanie Stoner, melanieas@hotmail.com. This can not happen without volunteer help!  Please consider giving some time to represent our school at this fun-filled event!

Art News: We are working towards our fall goals of super artwork for the upcoming exhibits that begin this fall.  The emphasis is think big, draw big. Local artists are exhibited at the Hale Fire Shop in downtown Madison. The Council and League host functions to display art and raise public awareness of artists in the Madison area.  Contact the Art League of Madison at www.artleaguemadison.org members include artists of all mediums and patrons.
