ST. JOHN'S SCHOOL BOARD

ANNOUNCEMENT: The St. John's Catholic School Board seeks two members for the upcoming 2012-2013 School Board with a term of three years each. If you are interested in becoming a school board member, you must attend the next School Board Meeting, which will be held on March 5th at 6:00pm in the school conference room. Attendance at this meeting is MANDATORY if you wish to be considered for one of the Board positions.

Please read the FAQs below to find out more information about the School Board, its structure and its activities. We also encourage you to contact a current Board member (see contact info below) for more detailed and specific information.

Please prayerfully consider serving the St. John's community in this very rewarding role. To be eligible to serve on the School Board, one must be a member of the St. John's parish and a practicing catholic.

As the consultative governing body of Saint John the Baptist Catholic School, the School Board's mission, in response to God's call to be responsible stewards of our Catholic Faith, is to: (a) Promote Catholic education and the concept of lay ministry, (b) Advise the Pastor and Principal on matters relating to the school, (c) Develop strategic plans and policy for the school, and (d) Serve as a conduit for communications between the Pastor, Principal, parents and Parish.
